Trust Religion Whatever you Feel is Right

pemain sepak bola muslim.
We all want to believe in something. Isn't that the truth? I don't care where you come from or where you've been, how you were raised, or how old you are, you want to believe that there is something great out there. This is only natural. Human beings aren't immortal by any means, and they do get old and pass on. There are no two ways about it. This is why so many people choose to follow a faith and believe in a higher power. It's a security blanket of sorts. Trusting that there's something better after this physical life is extinguished keeps us motivated and happy. It doesn't take a religious article or trip to church to see that.

It's funny how the human mind works. Take my mother in-law for example. The woman has never been religious, nor has she ever even resembled someone who's religious. As far as i knew, she had no faith in a deity at all. Then one bright and shiny day she read a religious article online, and POOF. Suddenly she had faith and believed in a higher order of things. Now, some may say that this is because she saw the "light, " but I think it's related to the fact that she's now over 60 and feeling uneasy about death. As our time runs low here, we want to believe more than ever. You wouldn't believe how many people suddenly get faith or take-up a Religion in their golden years. It's like all of the sudden they want some almighty being to accept them and care for them after death. Actually, that's what it really is. I suppose a random religious article or encounter with a religious individual could have a powerful effect on an older individual or someone approaching death's door.

Does the branch of Religion matter? This is an excellent question that I've pondered most of my life. I truly think that believing in God is believing in God. Just because a biased religious article tells you that Catholic is the only way to heaven doesn't make it so. Remember, these are all subjective pieces written by men and women. No God ever wrote a religious article on how Muslim is the only true Religion. You have to choose your own beliefs and Trust Whatever you Feel is Right.

Learning to make Lemonade

No, this isn't a recipe for a drink. It's a recipe for life.

We all come upon problems, either self-imposed or from elsewhere, often from the least expected places. Little or big, easily managed or seemingly devastating, they all can lead to growth and a path to the good life.

When we're in the midst of the problem, it is not easy to think that this pain, this sidetrack, can lead to anything that could resemble good, but even if we can't think that way in the midst of angst, the outcome can work to our benefit.

How many people will describe a terrible incident that happened to them years ago and attribute a successful outcome to that incident? Is this just a nice way to justify the pain and suffering or is this really true?

No doubt there are lessons to be learned from those hard times, but I think the key to using them to grow a good life is being able to consciously study from them.

For most of us, though, when we're going through a difficult time we are less than conscious of what is going on and how we are reacting. Interviews of people who have been involved in car crashes, muggings, fires and the like, will describe blanking out at crucial times, not able to remember after a particular point in the incident.

That blanking out, functioning on "automatic pilot, " as many say, happens in all manner of situations, some not as dramatic as a fire or motor vehicle accident, but as mundane as an argument with someone.

It is an important survival tactic that helps move us through severe physical and emotional pain and fear. Without it, we might become immobilized and unable to save ourselves or help others escape a tragedy.

We hear stories of heroism and may wonder how that person found the strength to surmount the catastrophe which confronted him. He will tell you that he just made it happen, not thinking of the dire consequences that could have fallen on him or even of the risk confronting him.

In the recent collapse of the 35W bridge in Minneapolis, a school aide initiated the rescue of about 50 children from their school bus precariously lodged against the railing of the fallen bridge. When asked by a reporter how it is that he did this heroic thing, he looked somewhat embarrassed and befuddled. His answer didn't come easily or smoothly, more of "I just did it" response. He really didn't know.

No doubt he was in that time between consciousness when he responded to the situation without thought to personal outcome. How he uses this incident in his life is, of course, yet to be determined. Will he use it to rise to a level that he might not have achieved without this trauma or will it be the chain around him that keeps him from attaining what he considers success? We may never know the effect of this major event on his life, but it will have an effect.

Is there a way to get a positive effect from a trauma, in other words, to make life's lemonade? There are many studies that show this is not only a possibility but that it happens frequently. There is even now a budding branch of psychology, of which i am a student, which studies and implements techniques that make these positive effects. It is called positive psychology and is quite different from illness-based psychology which seeks to find and treat disorders in individuals which make for long term trauma and problems in living.

The Recipe
1. Feeling the sorrow of a trauma is normal and natural and part of what is described as the "healing process. " The school aide will feel this, as will those who survived the catastrophe and those who helped them afterwards. Some try to deaden the pain of the trauma by using alcohol or drugs, prescription or illicit, but this will only stall the process, not bypass it.

2. Some situations will not have great trauma, they will be smaller problems. All situations will need to be consciously considered if something useful is to be gotten out of them. That is, we must determine
(1) what occurred,
(2) why it occurred,
(3) how we handled it to our benefit or detriment,
(4) what we can study from it that we can use from here on out,
(5) how we can implement what we have learned.
3. The realization that life is made up of happiness and sorrow is an important defense against the effects of long term depression and an unhappy life. A patient of mine told me, years later, that when i first made that statement to her she thought I might be a bit crazy myself. It was only after overcoming her own life's difficulties did she understand my meaning. Life is wonderful, but don't expect an easy ride-you will be disappointed.

Cold Picnic Foods That You Can Make In A snap

A Picnic spread need not be a complicated affair. Offering Cold food items makes the menu easier to control. There will be less things to bring and fewer cleanups afterwards.

A favorite Picnic item is sandwiches. In the not so distant past a sandwich consisted of two slices of bread with a slice of lunch meat sandwiched between them. Sandwiches have been given a facelift in recent years.

To add variety to ordinary sandwiches, choose from different breads. Sandwiches are being made from pitas, flatbreads, and tortilla wraps. Cut the bread the night before and store in an airtight container.

Select meats from the deli counter at the grocery store. Fresh turkey breast, ham, chicken breast, and salamis are available. Store the sliced deli meats in the freezer. The morning of the Picnic, take them out so they can slowly thaw and stay Cold until they are ready to be devoured.

Condiments can spell trouble for picnic-goers Refrigerate mayonnaise derived Foods and dips until ready to pack the cooler for the Picnic. To eliminate having condiments containers sitting out without refrigeration, use condiment packets like the ones they give out at fast food restaurants.

Salads of all types are great Cold Picnic options. Macaroni or potato salad is best when served Cold. If your gathering is large, investing in single serving plastic cups with covers will avoid bringing too much to the Picnic. When mayonnaise based salads come to room temperature they begin to get soupy and could spoil.

Instead of a fruit salad, bring along whole fruits. Fruit need not be refrigerated. It can be cleaned off before you leave home and kept from the light in a paper bag. Choose a variety: apples, peaches, oranges, plums, and etc. Fruit makes a health-conscious dessert option than ice cream or candy. Plus it has natural sweetness.

Individual bags of chips and other snacks eliminate lots of hands from dipping in the same bag, dirty and clean. It also eliminates opened bags of chips that need to be transported home. Picnickers get more variety this way without spending a fortune on snacks. It also allows everyone to choose the snacks or chips they prefer so everyone gets what they prefer most.

Nuts Make an easy snack for a Picnic. They do not need refrigeration and can be transported easily. For easy handling by others, separate nuts into individual snack bags. Any bags that are not eaten can be poured back into the can to be eaten later.

Cold food items equal an easy and simple Picnic menu. There is no need to use a barbecue. The majority of Foods can be packaged separately for less mess and convenience of serving even with large family picnics.

Several "Health Food items " That could be Causing you to be Suffering!

You can find most of us who are dieting and wanting to live a healthful lifestyle. We exercise and go out of our way you can eat the best Food items we can. Most of us already know just that trans-fats, white sugar and white flour usually are not the best well being choices, especially if we should keep our fat down.

Unfortunately some of the extremely Food items that we consider are healthy are ones that will cause plenty of trouble for your body, and even help make us ill. Below is a listing of some surprisingly unhealthy “health Food items. ”

man-made Sweeteners
Many people that are dieting, whether it is low calorie or low carb eating plans, will opt for beverages with man-made sweeteners as opposed to sugar. Admittedly sugar is obviously a troublemaker and may be avoided, but man-made sweeteners are in reality worse for you and could even be dangerous to your quality of life.

All the man-made sweeteners are negative, but one with the worst sweeteners for people is NutraSweet (The same, aspartame). You can find above 92 different medical side effects connected with aspartame consumption, including brain growths, birth defects, diabetes, emotional disorders and epilepsy/seizures. You can find more side effects to NutraSweet reported for the FDA than all other Food items and additives blended.

A much better substitute for chemically derived sweeteners is stevia, which comes from your plant. It has been useful for centuries with no know negative effects. It can be purchased generally in most health food stores in america.

Sports Drinks
Although marketers could have us believe in which sports drinks are what our bodies needs when doing exercises heavily, the truth is that sports drinks are filled up with sugar (sucrose, glucose, and fructose) and salt (potassium and sodium) along with man-made flavorings and colorings. Add a tiny salt to Cool-Aid and you also have a comparable thing. You would be greater off drinking early spring water or diluted recently squeezed juices although exercising.

Most Energy and Sports Bars
Most sports and bars may also be filled with items that are not the most effective for our body, and are little a lot better than candy bars. Many of these contain sugar or man-made sweeteners, chemicals, preservatives, and synthetic vitamins and minerals. Check the ingredients prior to deciding to buy an vitality bar. Try to find the one that is made with whole Food items, such as oats and flax seeds, fruits, and natural sweeteners.

Soy Products
This is just about the most surprising ones of most, after all soy continues to be used for many generations in Parts of asia. But the way we now use soy is quite different than what sort of Asians have usually used it. The ancient Asians knew the soybean was tough to digest, so they acquired extensive fermenting techniques that broke down a lot of the indigestible components, making it far healthier to eat. Examples of this might be products just like soy sauce, tempeh, and miso. These were found in small amounts as condiments and flavorings, not as a meat replacement.

But the approach we use soy being a meat alternative (texturized veg protein or TVP) can be extremely unhealthy, since soy contains huge amounts of toxins or anti-nutrients. Some of the difficulties the anti-nutrients inside soybeans cause are conditions with the pancreas, cancer and thyroid issues. Soybeans also can easily block the body’s intake of essential nutrients.

Granola (as well as other Unprepared Grains)
For the previous 30-40 years granola continues to be synonymous with heath foods. But eating unprepared grains, or grains who have not been over loaded, fermented or sprouted, has only come about within the last 50-100 years. People who were living before our moment comprehended that unprepared grains may cause diet distress.

You can find anti-nutrients inside grains (like you can find in soybeans), such as phytic chemical p and enzyme inhibitors, that make these harder to break down. These antinutrients could cause substantial problems just like Crohn's disease, colitis, and even emotional disorders. Our failure to get ready our grains properly is probably the reasons that celactic disease is indeed prevalent now.

So, stay away from your granola. Oatmeal is a fantastic addition to our own diets, but use complete rolled oats (not necessarily instant) and soak them right away before boiling these for breakfast. Go to our own recipe blog at http://coconut-recipes.blogspot.com to get a good recipe for coconut oatmeal.

Good breads you can eat are those that have properly prepared grains, including whole materials sourdough and sprouted materials breads. You can typically find these in specialty food markets and health foods stores.

If you are dieting and/or eat much healthier, remember that wish company markets a “healthy” products well or even a health food retailer sells it, it doesn’t mean it is definitely healthy to suit your needs. Do some research prior to deciding to grab that sporting activities bar, or better but, reach for an organic apple, cherries, or some some other natural (not necessarily processed) foods. Your body will many thanks and reward you because of it.
